JAMES V. SHINDLER, JR.

Jim is a graduate of the Ohio State University and the University of Toledo College of Law. A former agent for the Internal Revenue Service, Jim is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jim is a member of the Toledo, Ohio State, American, and Lucas County Bar Associations and has been a lecturer and professor of accounting at the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. Jim is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the state courts of Ohio.

Jim is a life member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference and is a Trustee of the Schedel Arboretum & Gardens in Elmore, Ohio. Jim is also a Trustee and Chairman of the Cophia Center in Sylvania, Ohio and is a member of the Ohio Higher Educational Facility Commission.

Jim and his wife, Rita, reside in Sylvania, Ohio.

In December 2016, Jim received honors as a 50-Year Member of the Toledo Bar Association.
